Reps are so sure that tax cuts equal great things for the economy that they are left dumb struck every time. It's the pillar of their entire economic philosophy and it cannot fail in their minds, until it does over and over.

The economy is built on the backs of a strong middle class, giving the middle class an extra $30-50 per paycheck doesn't hurt, but it's not enough.

A fair tax code that would grow the economy more than anything would include absolute exemption for the first $70,000 or income for individuals and $140,000 for couples. Set the rate on incomes above that to whatever it has to be to cover the budget.

This stinks, no one is rooting for this to happen. Most of us have retirements tied up in the markets.

But we have a President who's so unpredictable and a Congress who is implementing policies that have a proven track record of hurting the economy. The madness must be stopped.

Someone needs to turn that damn thing off so Trump can be unceremoniously booted out after CEOs loses their actual value of their companies when the PPR isn't on.

Not going back in until things calm down, even if that means after the republican president is dethroned.

I want to retire soon. Can't afford to lose what I have and all I trust republicans to do is trash the economy.
