(3,011 posts)more than ever? Democrats are dismissed as partisan so reflexively, that until the Republicans agree with us, we have no credibility.
If we get McCain, or Flake, or Corker....and now even Gowdy to give us soundbites, it has come to mean a bolstering of our argument.
I was recently reading a paper on the American Expansion policy, where Colonel Alexander McKee said the following " our opponent) will not quietly give up by negotiation. We cannot ask (them) to make peace with us, considering them as the aggressors: but they must ask a peace of US.
We have to be powerful to make the most of our power. I want to hear from Democrats not Republicans. The Republican party needs to be crushed. They can rebuild it themselves, but they don't deserve our help.
At the risk of totally contradicting myself, the soundbite here is a good one.
