Unlike the tinhorn-Mussolinis future phallocentric parade.
It was attended by millions of Philadelphians and was to my knowledge not marred by any violence or assholery which might make the national news.
We are so proud of our terrific Eagles and look forward to equally successful years ahead.

(5,210 posts)for some reason tuned in to the game not long after the 2nd half started.
I'm so glad I did. It was a really good game, I enjoyed it, and MY TEAM won! Plus the Eagles seem like a class act. I coulda done without the overt religiosity at the end (the coach's speech), but whatever.

(10,843 posts)Said it was great fun and neither mentioned any carrying on, just a beautiful (very cold) day with a lot of smiling faces. My daughter-in-law who is an event planner for one of the big foodie companies downtown said she was amazed at how well organized the whole thing came off. The numbers were gargantuan, she reported. Bigger than last years women's march in DC (which is really hard to imagine since we both attended that march).
Good time had by all. They left for the city at 6 a.m. and got home around 5 p.m. Long but happy day!
