Its a funny coincidence...

My 401k went up steadily during the Clinton and Obama presidencies. It lost a ton of value and failed to get to the average market increase during the Bush administration (and my pension was also cut, twice, by a LOT, because the market did so badly in the Bush years).

And here we go again.

I’m sure it’s just chance.
