I really really feel sorry for the White House staff that have served other Presidents

and their families and now must serve this one. Can you imagine how they are being treated? The majority of them are people of color, some the third generation to serve the White House. Makes me sad.

So many headlines with WH Staff & WH Aides. Are they the same? What is the designation for the people who are employed by the WH over many administrations, vs those who serve the current administration?

Referring to someone as a West Wing staffer says they are political.
Permanent staff take care of the structure and service the administration employees.

In this scene from "The West Wing," Charlie Young (the president's personal aide) talks about Mrs. Willy. She works in the White House residence. After you see the scene, imagine that lady working for Trump.
