He says, "That may be an exaggerated number," in justifying policy. I'm glad it's science based.
My recollections are that a doctor in the last two decades, has only once advised me to take Aspirin and that was for a daily low dose. There have been many times when a doctor has strongly advised me not to take Aspirin.

There are definitely people who don't need opioids, but there are a lot more folks in real pain.
