Maybe it's my location but I'm not hearing about these big raises and tax benefits from blue states. The stories I see, maybe selectively chosen by region, tend to be the red rust belt that went for trump in 2018 and who are going to be decimated by the general health and economic policies.

So yeah - it he buys 4.1 million voters in PA, OH, MI, WI rust belt who are already inclined to his racist dogwhistles...if he can keep them in the fold it might be enough. I don't remember the fact number but 46 electoral votes swung on less than 200,000 total votes across PA, MI, WI. Add another 500k for Ohio's 18 and almost 20% of trump's EV win came from less than 800k voters. I know that's not news but it's worth keeping in mind when we look at this statement. He only needs 1 in 5 of those 4.1 million to take action at the polls and those 64 EVs are in the bag.

It's one thing to get riled up about the current situation but there are only a few future scenarios that change it. Most are hail mary passes. I'd love to see impeachment (not in this congress)...I'd love to see resignation (not from this president)...I'd love to see indictments (even an expedited court case will take years - and you think this president will take a guilty plea...lololol).

So the only real scenario that changes the future is November 6, 2018. GOTV. It's the day we collectively say "no more" or "meh". And if these 4.1 million show up with their W-2 in hand and a smile on their face...it could be enough.
