The first one sounded like a little old lady "He doesn't look very happy and it looks like he's surrounded by marijuana"
Rush agreed and said "I can't tell you how many people have told me they thinks he's out in the doobies"
Going to break he also said "I can't tell you what a lot of people are saying he's doing" -- I guessing he meant going to the bathroom.
After the break one caller claimed to be a high school art teacher...(who apparently is calling from class?).

(182,884 posts)I've seen several posts here over the years about people trying to get into or make extra money in the voiceover industry being callers on his show.
I've noticed two things:
1. The clarity of the calls - no background noise and no one sounds like they're driving
2. They are remarkably calm and composed for supposed first time callers. My own experience calling local radio tells me that's a red flag. After a few times you get the hang of it but the first few are pretty nerve racking.
