And well beyond, of course - and it has to make an impact - it can't allowed to be "just another senseless tragedy" - we can't allow ourselves to become numbed to this - normalization of gun tragedy is just what the NRA lives on.

Lots of parents probably attended a service or a self-lead program ending with prayer and being marked with ashes in the shape of a cross on their foreheads. For many people, Ash Wednesday will also be attached, even though it is not always on this date.

themselves to do their job in spite of the gory scene that they found.
