I made this exact point in another thread.

Trump went to great lengths to conceal his affairs from Melania. It would be fitting if Melania publicly rebuked him and left him, she would get all the sympathy in the world, she got conned.

How is Melania going to react when she reads that Trump took his girlfriend to their home and showed her Melania's bedroom?

Apparently the event that was the precipice for Trump attaining a divorce from Marla Maples, his second wife, is that she was found sandy and disheveled on a Florida beach at 4-something in the morning with her bodyguard.

It's irrelevant whether she was caught en flagrante delicto or it was something that didn't look good. Trump couldn't handle people thinking that Marla wasn't HIS sex slave and she could never look at another man. So he divorced her.

Since the Eighties, Trump hasn't even tried to be coy about philandering. When Ivana (first wife) confronted him BEFORE L'affaire de Maples, he replied that he HAD TO sleep with many other beautiful women for the sake of "business" vitality. It was the normal cost of business. IMO, Melania knew. But she wanted to nail Trump like he nailed her. And like countless women immemorial, she thought that having a baby would anchor her husband to her forever. While one can criticize her for being delusional, in her defense, I think she woke up; but she doesn't know what to do with this enlightenment. If she got a divorce, she would have to attain something so foul, so destruction to Trump that he would give her the money and let her walk.

I could care less about her supposed travails for marrying a rich man for his cash. She's a terrible 'first lady' yet costs us a mint.

All I have to do is watch this and any sympathy / empathy I might have had flies out the window. She married him, the current headlines are the pigeons coming home to roost.
