1. Well, these mythic folks would be helpful if the people who most profess to believe in them

were to follow their rules.

The Jesus you read about would do the exact opposite of everything a conservative christian does.

And even if he was anti abortion, I can assure you he would not also be anti food assistance, anti housing assistance, anti healthcare assistance, etc.

It's not "God's" fault that this is happening, more like proof that the evangelical god is a self-serving myth.

The fault is of a society that doesn't provide good mental health care, a political group that is paid to let guns kill as many (non-rw) people, including children, as possible, a political group that openly lies to demonize anyone who isn't part of their cabal, and an association that takes tons of money from russia to increase the rate of killing from ownership of guns. Prayers and thoughts of future contributions is the only thing they really do, all the rest is lip service and total lies.

6. Thoughts and prayers are great always but

it has to go beyond that and translate into to action. People have to believe something is going to be done to have hope. So far nothing is being done.

Thoughts and prayers are meaningless without action.
Compassion is meaningless without action - which (on edit) means that true Compassion includes intentionally and thoughtfully risking loss or failure of something you want or your personal comfort when doing the Right Thing.

Jesus and God don't want you to just sit on the sidelines and keep saying "please" and "I wish" like a three year old when something happens because you're "too tired" or, rather, too scared to take responsibility and do something, they want you put away your childish attitudes about a Mommy and Daddy deity picking up after you and making life easier for you because you want to believe "you're their special little woobie" and start working to make Creation a better place for everyone, not just your selfish little soul.
And stop listening to those arrogant A-holes who make money off of telling you they Know what Creation is all about, or God's Plan and that if you follow what they say, you're gonna go to heaven. They're the ones making you angry, frightened, and take away all the compassion in the World - especially when they start talking about "Holy Armies" and "the Forces of Darkness" as justification to bring pain to others who don't believe in the lesser God they've created in their own image.

And from people that want to evict anyone that looks darker than pure white

And that refuse to feed and clothe the poor and homeless

That want to have more laws and control over a woman's body than anything else in the world.

And who are currently hoping for the end times to hit.

Yeah, that's what we need more of.
