(29,721 posts)1. I loved that city.
It will probably crumble. I hope there is no loss of lives, but that may not possible because the city is densely populated.

I stayed at a cheap hotel in a room on a 4th floor roof. Outdoor shower, etc.
I got there at night and when I woke up and went out onto the roof I saw a
church right across a narrow street that must have been 2 or 3 hundred years old.
A beautiful city.

(29,721 posts)6. We stayed in some little bungalows that centered
around the veranda covered with lots of plants and flowers and great coffee and a very congenial host.
