Everyone of those Russian operatives indicted today are currently in Russia, so it is quite unlikely

that we will be able to get them to come back to the United States. From what I understand, what is know is that Russia was definitely involved in undermining the 2016 election, and that these same elements are involved in the upcoming 2018 election, and unless extraordinary action is taken, the 2018 election will also be compromised in the same way.

1. So they will all be convicted in absentia. Fine. But now the R's have no excuse

for firing Rosenstein/Mueller. And they have no excuse for not taking strong action against further Russian meddling. (Which could be in our voting systems, changing actual vote counts, next time.)

when I heard of the news. I was so happy I got tears in my eyes (really!). The Russians are safe but so are Mueller and Rosenstein as far as I can figure. That is a big plus but I haven't heard about this new benefit on the news today.

Even the ones under sanctions could still travel to most of the rest of the world if not to the US.
Now they are under a US felony indictment and subject to extradition. Remember the recent case of the Russian hacker arrested in Spain and extradited to the US.
