Twitter needs to set up a verification process for people wanting accounts

So many places now make you give them either your email address or telephone number so they can contact you before you can open an account. I don't remember having to do that with Twitter. And Twitter is still overflowing with Russian bots. I know they have removed a lot of them but so many are still there and they are doing exactly the same thing today, after the new in indictments, as they did yesterday.

There are ways to make it harder for people to create fake accounts. Twitter and Facebook need to step up their game.
