President Skips Golf to Honor Victims

America's Greatest President™ touched the hearts of millions today, choosing to honor the many high school students who had lost their lives by dying to protect the Second Amendment and gun rights. People across the country have said how deeply they had been moved by the empathy of America's Greatest President™

Admiration was especially strong among ordinary citizens in the nation's capitol

Kellyanne, who asked that we not use her last name, cheered the decision. "This is Donald Trump at his very best, at his very best," she said

Sarah, who also asked that we identify her only by her first name, was also impressed. "If Hillary Clinton had won the election, which, thankfully she didn't, but if she had, she would be playing golf today," she told us

Marco, who explained that he was "a senator, I think, or something like that," approvingly quoted the US national motto

Much of the rest of the nation also applauded the bold move by America's Greatest President™

In Iowa, Pete Brownell, a magazine salesman, noted the President's "passion for golf and passion to strengthen the Second Amendment"

In the first place, I can't believe he didn't play golf. The kids would have been the 2nd-3rd item on his mind. Melania should have been in there somewhere. She surely hasn't been placated yet.

We need a link.

Trump apparently thinks he deserves credit for staying away from the golf course as victims of the Florida mass shooting are buried.
By Oliver Willis - February 17, 2018

... The White House usually tries to hide Trump’s weekend golf outings. He and his entourage have gone as far as to hide from the cameras, and in one instance apparently enlisted the services of a box truck to block reporters from capturing footage of him golfing.

That all changed this weekend when suddenly, the White House was eager to go on the record about Trump’s plans to not golf.

Speaking to Bloomberg reporter Jennifer Jacobs, Trump’s team made it clear that they wanted it reported that he skipped golfing on Saturday. In a tweet .. Jacobs noted, "White House wants to respect the dead and the mourners, I'm told."

She added, "Mar-a-Lago is only about half an hour from the site of the Parkland school shooting, and memorial services continue" ...

A couple days ago, it was easier to tell...today, not so much. Particularly with this ding-dong in office. Bizarre follows him around like a wad of stale gum on his butt.

It would be a kindness to identify writings that are satire as such. My sense of humor has trouble figuring weird stuff out.

Just sayin'.

Had it been an hour away, Trump would haven't missed his golf date. Too much trouble to make a two hour round trip to listen to a bunch of losers (referencing his first tweet where he blamed the victims, which showed what he actually thought of the situation).

The WH shouldn't have put out the message that he wasn't going to play golf today, because that just emphasized how much he does do it.
