I thought the same thing about the jacket. Someone suggested she look more solemn so they found a jacket. It looks much less stiff in videos than it does in pictures. She likes to wear white, that's for sure. I didn't think this look was as bad as some things she's worn. And before anybody says anything, my problem has never been about the way she looks in her clothes or even what she wears. It's more about the appropriateness of the look for the occasion. I have the same issue with Padma from Top Chef (a tv cooking show for those who don't watch tv).

Those things have sleeves. Arms go in them. WTF is going on with the whole 'wearing but not really *wearing* clothes' thing?

Doesn't she know how to put the various clothing items on? Does she also tie her stockings around her ankles?
