CNN just interviewed the FL shooting student speakers.

They are pretty sharp and have the Fucking Moron's number and aren't falling for his BS "discussion" that HE planned on his home turf instead of going to the FL town hall which was already planned and he chose not to attend. Chicken shit! The students were the ones who spoke so eloquently at the FL protest yesterday. They said they invited him to THEIR Town Hall but he declined and decided to set up his own where he is the star and center of attention.

There are two events planned for March. On March 14th there is a Nationwide Walkout supported by the Women's Group which will have parents, educators, students and anyone who care about safety in their communities to attend from 10:00-10:15 AM at local school district headquarters, city halls, and state capitals as well as DC. The number of sites hosting events has doubled in the last 24 hours since I was made aware of it and posted it on DU yesterday. There is another event on March 24 for FL schools to do the same.
I was a first grade teacher and union rep for my San Diego school site and was teaching during Sandy Hook and will be at my local Ed Center with my friends and neighbors. Check out the links and see if you are near a site for an event. You are also encouraged to walk out of your job for that 15 min. period in show of support for Congress to write and enforce gun control. #ENOUGH
