Shepard Smith Smacks Down Trump's Tweetstorm: 'Not Once' Has He Condemned Russia's Meddling

As Smith noted, Trump used his weekend to attack Adam Schiff, Oprah Winfrey, the FBI and pretty much every other one of his political enemies. Trump did not, however, say anything especially negative about Russia or Vladimir Putin despite the news that Robert Mueller indicted multiple Russian entities on charges of tampering with the American institutions during the 2016 election.
Even though the White House is proclaiming this as an exoneration from alleged collusion, National Security adviser H.R. McMaster has said the latest news means that the evidence of Russian meddling is now “incontrovertible.” Smith brought this up as he continued to dissect Trump’s tweets and fact-check how many times the president has dismissed the Russia investigations.

“The reality is the president has questioned the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election over, and over, and over again… The president’s spokespersons have been on television denouncing the meddling, the president has not. Not once, not on camera, not on Twitter, not anywhere.”
