And Delta is my preferred airline. Just bought international tickets last week. This make me feel even better about that purchase. Think I will email and thank them.

If all companies offering benefits to NRA members stop doing so what would the membership benefit of NRA be? Why pay dues?

I am so proud of the brave students speaking out for a less violent future. We all benefit. We must stand with them and make sure our politicians do, too. This must be who we are now.

Thank you to the corporations that are cutting ties with the corrupt NRA.

America: The Next Generation

Yeah bad Star Trek joke...but it's great to see the massive effect that this is having. I hope Amazon follows suit, I use them and have written them about dropping NRA off their streaming service.

The generational lines vary depending on who you ask, but the earliest year people define Gen Z as is 1995 birth date.

The youngest Obama voters (18 in 2012) were born in 1994.

Had any association with NRA to begin with.

There's that many gunhumpers in this country?

It draws business in. While there have always been gun related issues, it's only in the last decade that it's gotten serious worse in terms of mass shootings and the view of most people of the NRA was what it was back in the 70's and before.

Now people are seeing what the NRA became, what NRA TV is, and just the callousness of so many of them.

But realistically, it's the same as companies offering AAA discounts and the like. They want to reach as many potential customers as possible and offering discounts and co-branding helps.

Only until it doesn't, hence companies dropping them.

There are roughly 5 million NRA members. Affiliation with a group that large translates to dollars, business ethics be damned. Now that the public pressure started by the young kids is gaining steam these companies, now on the unpopular side of the spectrum, are being forced to pick sides.
Dems need to take advantage of this momentum from the kids and elect strong Dem governors and state/federal congress members who will not take NRA money to beat down the NRA money machine.
