Instead they conveniently claim it's the venue requirements. I suspect the leadership is afraid of all those so-called "responsible" gun owners, three percenter terrorist types, mentally ill gun-humpers, and perhaps worse.
Oh, gun shows don't allow loaded weapons either for the same reason. You'd think with all those "responsible" gun owners, that wouldn't be a concern. LMAO.

What is the explanation for why weapons are not allowed at events for the NRA and conservatives ?

(54,770 posts)Any other organization would not go to states, cities or venues that banned their reason for existing. It really is kind of funny listening to LaPierre frothing at the mouth about dangers of gun free zones/places, in a place that bans guns.
