She is so smart. So honest. She is cool. I even love her haircut. Different. I am 58 years old, grew up in the 60s and 70s and I still love people who are different. I love people who speak out, raise hell, rebel. I am still young at heart. Thank god.

(146,324 posts)Always. I like seeing her on TV. She's smart, well-spoken, fearless and ready to tell you what she thinks. I think she's a star. She's also already a leader, as the President of her school's Gay-Straight alliance. I expect big things from her.
Keep talking, Emma, and I'll keep smiling. You go!

(46,166 posts)I admire her strength in the face of what she and her classmates have experienced. In one week a new generation of leaders has emerged.

(90,348 posts)humansofmsdI decided to cut my hair because it was a pain in the neck, if youll forgive the pun. It was really hot all the time; it was very cumbersome and very heavy, leading to a lot of headaches. It was expensive to keep it up, and as prom time came around, I figured it would be cheaper to not have to worry about doing my hair. The more my parents said no, the more I wanted it. Actually, I even made a powerpoint in order to convince them that I should do it. I figured I would look really good with it, and I do. So, it all worked out fine.
