We are seeing just one effect of Trump's normalization.

And that is...

That the arming of teachers can even be CONSIDERED as a potential solution to school shootings.

That "solution" brings up so many questions that I won't even bother posting them here.

But since Trump keeps repeating this shit, and the NRA keeps repeating this shit, it somehow becomes worthy of consideration.

Arm teachers? NO. WRONG FUCKING ANSWER.

are all for it! Will it be a teachers choice to carry? Will they get a pay upgrade for carrying? Who will be liable if a child is hit in the cross fire? Whose liability will it be if the teacher is overpowered and the gun is confiscated? How will police know who's the active shooter and the good guy with a gun?

Too many scenarios where this could go horribly wrong.....

The gunners don't care. One remarked "well, you never see an active shooter with an AR 15 walk in a police station and start shooting".....
