While trying to talk about everything to do with the school shooting except the guns, he came out with this bit of wisdom.
"I'm hearing more and more people say the level of violence on video games is really shaping young people's thoughts. And you go one further step and that's the movies. ... maybe they have to put a rating system for that,"
The level of ignorance is truly astonishing. The pathetic thing will be watching his supporters explain why this isn't the ramblings of an old, out of touch clown. This quote is rated P for Peabrain.

(3,479 posts)The homicide rate from 1967-1993 was double what it is today, and the video games looked like Pong, Pac-Man, Super Mario Bros, and Sonic the Hedgehog for the most part. Bloodless and innocent.
Curiously enough, the violent crime rate dropped just as the games were becoming more realistic. Blaming games like Call of Duty and the like for the surge in mass shootings is ridiculous, especially when the gun homicide rate as a whole has plummeted. That's just silly. Our gun culture is the problem.

Remember when some Christians declared that rock and roll music had hidden messages that could be heard by playing the music backward? Such incredible stupidity. Just like this.
