Democrats are simply way, WAY funnier.

In that vein, you almost have to feel sorry for regressives. Imagine going through life with virtually no sense of humour at all. Hey! I said "almost."

The reason being is that we can make fun of ourselves and we understand irony and absurdity. When Southpark, or Portlandia, or other shows have made fun of liberals, we look at it and say, "Yeah, I do that sometimes" or "HA!, I know someone like that" Because we do not have a rigid ideology about the way that things should be, we are not stuck defending ideas that have been debunked. Conservatives seem to be all about preventing loss and when you are white knuckling your way through life, scared of every little change that life inevitably brings, you don't have a lot of room for humor.

I actually feel sorry for them, though that doesn't stop me from wanting to relegate their ideology to the dustbin of history.

I guess there are always exceptions.

It's just too damned easy making Trump look like an idiot. We're starting with the biggest moron on two legs, and then he supplies so much more moron material with which to work. It's just waaaaaaaaaaaaay too easy!
