Diane Black is an abomination. My husband and I (both retired RNs) scream at the TV that we are ashamed she was ever in our profession. We will do what we can to keep her out of Nashville.

When she ran in ‘16, she had ads featuring her changing oil in “her car” in a driveway of a ranch style home, implying that she was an “average Tennessean”...it was disgusting, considering she and her husband have a monstrosity of a home on Old Hickory Lake and I’d wager she doesn’t know shit about what it means to be an “average Tennessean”, much less what the average citizen in our district goes through daily...especially in the rural areas.

We live like five mins from her home. Thanks to their ugly, massive home, us average Tennesseans can no longer view the historic home that is the namesake of her subdivision. Oh, you can drive into the majority of the subdivision, but if you want to drive back to Fairview Plantation, that small portion of the community is gated to keep out the rest of us “average” folks.

I would hide from normal folks, too.

I just saw her new ad for her gubernatorial bid showing her fawning all over trump. My hope is that he will be so toxic and tainted by the time of the election that she will be unable to rid herself of the stench. I loathe her.
