She's certainly mastered the ability to talk intensely, throw out a lot of "facts" in each sentence, be accusatory, and fill in each sentence with a lot of fluff to take up and dominate the time. Stephanopolous was really unable to push back at all, though he did try to some degree. But it's just an overwhelming presence of evil.

(4,429 posts)why talk to someone who doesn't want to talk about truth - or the facts. Just cut to a statement that she reads (has read somewhere else) and then talk to experts who are willing to talk about guns.
The NRA won by being on the show, not by being right - and they know it. News should stick to working towards truth, not giving airtime to partisans (imo).

(6,399 posts)It may be "uncivil" in the eyes of some but if you're coming on a show to talk about things but you're just going to recite talking points, that person shouldn't be on or cut short instead.

One morning, I heard Mika say they would no longer have Conway on tv because Conway off the air told Mika that she didnt believe most of the stuff that she said on the air.
Conway just said it was part of her job to lie.
Mika said that it was her shows policy not to put admitted liars on the air.

(4,429 posts)shouldn't have her on, either, but he seems to like the banter (you can see they BOTH enjoy the back and forth).
It's entertainment tv, not news (just mo, here!). But it makes me angry enough that I don't trust either one
