Saw Beto O'Rourke last night. He's outraised Cruz in 2018

Beto - $2.3mm and Cruz $800k. Beto's average contribution like $25 - no-PAC money.

My impressions of him. Idealistic. Kennedy-esque. Eloquent. Positive. Reminded me of Obama - and his energy. O'Rourke has visited 221 out of 254 Texas counties. He said last night that some places he went to told him they had never ever had anyone come to their town. This kind of hard work reaps rewards.

Reading his bio - he does have youthful indiscretions for sure...arrested twice.
For sure Cruz will smear him. And, for sure big GOP donors will shower Cruz with an unlimited supply of money soon.
