SO many things could go wrong by arming teachers, yet so many things could go right by properly funding public schools. So why's only one on the table? Because one is an immediate profit while the other is a long term investment in ppl. It's emblematic of shortsighted leadership.
If Trump really cared about students, he wouldn't be cutting funding to community schools that provide social, emotional, health and academic programs to kids among other things. Doing so while offering teachers guns is cynical at best, insidious at worst.
