Why I connected that song with Marvin Gaye I don't know. I think I was confused about Gaye's wonderful "What's Goin' on" and that song. Or maybe it was a sympathetic connection since Gaye was so tragically killed by his own father who was out of his mind over his son's "dirty lyrics."

I have done the same thing, have to pause for a minute and think.

This was done by Buffalo Springfield, it was very meaningful back in the 60's and I love the new words, keeps the spirit of the original.

One of the songs from that era that I still know by heart.

The time just flies!

and 50 years ago we changed a lot things from '68 to end of the 70's.
I am feeling hopeful about what I am seeing and hearing now, esp. the effective response over the NRA.
