Let California decide who they want.

Left coast politics are NOT the same as Midwest politics or even East coast politics. I'm in Oregon and if some Floridian for example told me how to vote, I would roll my eyes and say, You don't know my state." Just like many here advocate their support for Joe manchin in a red state. The west coast is more left than anywhere in the US.

actually an independent state and nothing should be assumed or taken for granted as evidenced by Reagan, Wilson, and Arnold

The level of fear I see here over normal party procedures is really starting to freak me out.
