The media is doing a poor job explaining the "memo" stories...

But, in their defense, four weeks ago seems like a long time. That was when the Nunes memo came out and was was immediately seen to be a fraud. Democrats were not permitted to refute it at the time.

But yesterday, the Democrats were finally allowed to give their response to the Nunes cover-up memo for Donald Trump.

What does Trump do? He runs to FOX News to give his rebuttal to the Democratic memo and the media pretends that neither memo carries much weight - just political documents. But the story is much more than that.

Trump and Nunes worked together to distort and to cover-up the real story behind the FISA warrant for Carter Page. Carter Page was hired by Donald Trump as part of his foreign policy team. Nobody knows why? But the FBI had Carter Page in their sights as far back as 2013. Trump and Nunes are attempting to argue that he only came on the radar because of the Steele dossier. It simply isn't true.

With the help of the media, they are being very successful at muddying the water.

these weekend TV news readers weren't knowledgeable or well prepared to speak about the memos. Interviewing various people, they could not even manage to field cogent questions.

But - agree with the other poster - mid-weekend, and rather long document to digest - hopefully tomorrow will be better
