Have you ever worked with a person like Mitt Romney?

You know the type. The one who just doesn't fit. When they make a comment it doesn't pertain to what the conversation is. or it is a mean swipe at someone.
They would be the one that would turn you into management for some perceived infraction. They also try to tear others down behond their backs.
The Mitt types will also pull nasty little tricks like pouring something into your coffee.

I used to work with one in particular. A real jerk who was always right about everything. Would run to management on every one but never say anything to that person directly. Management hated him too, but he really thought one day he would get that big promo into management.

He was also in the Army Reserve. According to some friends, he had less than a year to go to reach full retirement in the reserve when he did something and got thrown out. I don't know the details, but even the Army couldn't take him.

because you don't work WITH a person like Romney, you can only work FOR them. You need to laugh at their jokes and "pranks." Avoid anything that sounds like second guessing or any inconvenient truths. Lay low when they are on the warpath and at least pretend to be part of the cult of their personality (if that term can apply to people with no personality). If you don't, and maybe even if you do, you're fired.

He was way too good to work for our company, so he quit and went to work for another company.
Then about a month later our company bought his new one.

A lot of passive/aggressive stuff and downright lack of respect for the rights of others. This was only a few people, but this sort of behavior tends to over-shadow any of the good stuff.
