Pressure is on at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's

Customers are calling for Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's to stop selling assault-style rifles.

Dick's Sporting Goods changed its firearm policy on Wednesday, following a shooting that killed 17 people at a Parkland, Florida high school.

Gun sales are a major part of Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's business, with deals such as NRA Freedom Days.

They sell lots of outdoor stuff, but I believe guns are “the main event”. I’d love to be proven wrong, but they seem to be the Walmart/Home Depot of promoting a outdoorsman/gun lifestyle.

They are all in. If an Assault Weapons Ban actually catches some traction, they are about to increase profits at least 2 fold.

I bought some fishing stuff there a few years ago and they said
I would get a 25% discount for signing up for one of their credit
cards and so I did .... BTW it turns out the 25% was on future
purchases, which they did not tell me .... and after that I started
getting NRA crap in the mail.
