To tell them otherwise? This analogy reminds me of the somewhat graphic/disturbing movie they would show in drivers ed of people being pulled lifeless from cars because someone ran a stop sign or tried to beat a train at a er crossing.
Maybe they need to show high schoolers across the nation the real aftermath of gunshots. Some video at a hospital ER, etc. scare them into taking a less cavalier attitude about guns.
