This is a woman who was so incompetent and disruptive, she was fired from several jobs in the Clinton Administration. She found her way onto a reality television show where she made a name for herself by making a complete ass of herself. She managed to parlay that into a job in the most senior levels of the White House. She was no more qualified for her job than anyone else there - actually she was less qualified than many and that’s REALLY saying something, given the crowd we’re talking about. She has a graduate degree, but she has absolutely no experience in policy or communications (at least not in communicating about anything but herself). Yes - boo hoo for her - she was surrounded by racists and racist dog-whistles - all of which she ignored, defended and enabled until they kicked her ass out of there.

If she were so smart and savvy, she would have thanked her stars for that opportunity and used it to recast herself as a serious person with depth, knowledge and specific expertiose so that when she was cut lose - as everyone eventually is - she could write her own ticket in the real world. But that takes work, so ... Instead, she paraded around the White House, planning her wedding, flipping her hair, calling herself “the Honorable” and accomplishing absolutely nothing other than pissing off and/or cracking up everyone she came in contact with.

And when she was dragged out of the building like an obnoxious patron getting put out of the club, what did she do? She didn’t go off somewhere, keep her mouth shut for awhile, do some reflecting and consider her options. No. Within a couple of months, she scrambled back down the ladder to the serious and respectable world of reality tv - landing right where she was 15 years ago as if she’d never been anywhere or done anything meantime.

Omarosa is little more than a pathetic joke whose entire career has been built on convincing people who don’t know any real black women that she’s something special. But the only thing special about her is her willingness to make a fool of herself. Most black women in America have built successful careers from the ground up, we’ve gotten degrees from presitigious schools, we’re articulate and beautiful and brilliant and awesome.

Omarosa, on the other hand is, well, Omarosa.
