The shooting at Central Michigan - it was the shooter killing his parents - he may be cornered

The news they may have spotted him is breaking. I'll post updates as they come.

Police: Central Michigan University student shot parents to death in dorm

MOUNT PLEASANT (WJRT) (3/2/2018) – Police believe a Central Michigan University student shot his parents to death Friday when they came to pick him up for spring break.

The shooting took place around 9:30 a.m. in Campbell Hall, which is part of the Towers residence halls on the west side of campus. Nobody else was injured besides the two people who died.

Authorities were looking for 19-year-old Eric Davis Jr. He was last seen running north from the scene.

He is a 19-year-old black male who is approximately 5-foot-10 and 135 pounds. He is wearing mustard yellow jeans and a blue hoodie. He may have taken off the blue hoodie.

He is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees the suspect, do not approach him and call 911 immediately.

This sure sounds planned. They are finding articles strewn around the path they suspect me may have taken. No more mention of a sighting but he was seen running along a railroad grade.

They will be releasing his photo, soon.

The shooter had just been treated at a local hospital, and they are mentioning there may be some drug involvement.

Today is the last day of class before Spring Break. Now the kids are all sheltered in place for the duration.

His parents were there to pick him up for Spring Break, and he shoots them? He was taken to the hospital, last night, for some sort of drug problem. And now it appears he's been shedding clothes as he flees. If he is, as they suspect, in the wooded/swampy area, there's only so long in this weather that he can 'lay low' and hope to escape. Hypothermia might just figure into the the resolution.

But it's in the low 30's, and not going much past 40, today. If he hunkers down in that area, off campus, he might just fall asleep and not wake up. Especially if there is still some drugs involved in the situation.

The shooter seems to have disappeared! I wonder if he had someone waiting with a car. There is a MASSIVE man hunt going on.

That, or he's hunkered down in the woods/swamp area. And if that's where he is, I'd expect that his fate might be hypothermia. It maybe broke 40, today, and it looks like he shed his hoodie to throw them off of the description.
