Negative energy is not the way to go. By focusing on beating the repubs we will be able to put our energy to very good use. I've tried to live my life by not dealing with negative energy. There's enough stuff that happens (illness, death, loss of job) that is negative. I sure hope folks realize that we can slow/stop the trump/repub agenda if we just vote in November for Dems.

It is no different than what Fascists, racists, homophobes, and bigots of all stripes have done for ages. I am better than that, and I hope that most DUers are too. I experience aversion to Trump and his ilk, but I resist nurturing aversion into hatred.

The electoral college and gerrymandered districts need to go. While folks weren't paying attention in 2010 repubs won big and drew the district lines. I sure hope folks get this. We will be doing the same thing after the 2020 election. What bothers me the most is we were all warned and folks were blind to the message.

With a few geographic exceptions, the demographics are shifting and have shifted AWAY from conservative ideology and toward liberalism, though you won't hear much about that.

More people in this country are aligned with traditional liberal positions than they are conservative ones, so in order to keep control of local, state and federal seats, Republicans have to cheat and mislead.

I was flicking radio channels as I was waking up this morning and hit on Rush Limpballs for a few seconds just to see what that drug addicted waterboy was up to. Turns out he was going to 'uncomplicate' the Cambridge Analytica/Facebook story for his loyal listeners. I didn't stick around to hear his take on it, but when I read this I just thought.....I'd give anything for some caller, the author Franz ideally, to grift his way onto the call-in list, and then proceed to read this entire piece out to Limpballs audience. "Fantasy" because obviously he would be cut off after the first line (because they'd know exactly who he was talking about, which says a lot). My fantasy is that there would be some technological problem with the station where they couldn't cut him off and they couldn't even go to a commercial and he'd be allowed to continue unabated until the bitter end.

Those assholes that listen to Rush and Hannity (and Savage and Ingram and others) religiously laugh at our pain. They take glee in 'libtards' concern for the country. In fact that seems to be the only reason they support the Orange Buffoon for most of them. But it doesn't mean they ever HEAR our pain and our concern and our anger back at them for being such fucking morans. Where they cannot just get mad and shout over top or stomp off, or maybe punch us in the face to stop us from speaking. It would be nice if for one time they had to actually HEAR our disgust and anger at their Dear Leader it would make me smile at what these Trump-addled brains would be enduring in those moments. I catch myself several times a day now just wondering if Air Force One could go down (and, sadly, I don't care that there'd be at least one or two innocent victims involved either). I keep hoping he'll choke to death on a cheeto at 3 AM while he's furiously flapping his thumbs of fury on Twitter. I keep hoping he'll topple his golf cart at Mar A-Lago and crack his skull open and break his neck.

I don't believe I've ever so honestly wished such ill will and mayhem on anyone. I didn't wish anything like this on Shrub back in the day, but today, this orange shitgibbon on meth makes Shrub look like the Dali Lama, Mother Theresa and Einstein rolled into one.
