I have investments, so this makes me sad. But, in this capitalistic, greedy society, this is about the only thing that Americans understand... $$$$. When they start to feel the pinch, maybe they will start putting pressure on their elected Republican officials to remove the Traitor-in-Chief.

Market was already over-valued when the reality star got elected. Now it is more over-values than in October 1929 before the mega-crash.

From 176 to 172. Given that one year ago FB stock was at 140, I doubt FB investors are jumping off of building ledges.

As you indicate, the market is up a massive amount over the past year or more. Investors understood that 2018 likely wouldn't come close to matching 2017, and likely would have rough patches. The January surge provided some cushion and we've had the dip followed up ups and downs subsequently.

Nobody is panicking. Trump's status is not impacted. I can't imagine otherwise intelligent people wasting time desperately rooting for the stock market to go down.

It is a losing proposition.

Every week, there's a thread posted about "OMG DOW DOWN 300 POINTS TODAY".

And then over the next day or two, it completely bounces back.

None of the big cons need to worry about their investments. It's just the small people who are like addicted gamblers.

It might stay down for the rest of the day, but I could see it bouncing back over the next couple days.

it has something to do with that 10 page list the EU has prepared of American products likely to be included in a reciprocal trade tariff if the Trumpster goes through with his trade war schemes.

So much winning!
