What should be the legal penalty for Facebook?

On top of a humongous fine?

Should they be required to destroy all personal information they have collected and also, the information they have sold to others?

And never to collect the information in the future?

Or maybe total dissolution of their company?

we should be boycotting Facebook.

I haven’t totally given up on FB. But I have stopped posting photos (I am a photographer). About the only thing I post now is to wish someone a happy birthday.

Or with any entity like CA or Amazon that sucks up data for their own purposes?

Oh dear, but then they would only make millions and not billions.

But the best reaction is to just delete your facebook account. I did a few weeks ago. I have seen a marked improvement in both my well being and my real-life relationships.

Then we can decide on what the appropriate punishment is since right now we do not know the details, extent or ramifications of his wrongdoings and possible crimes.
