He actually started a war or two. Causing hundreds of thousands of deaths and costing trillions of dollars.
His tax cuts for the rich were at least twice the size of the current tax deform
He allowed 911 to happen on his watch (okay I am still a LIHOP person - just explain to me 1) why we could not defend the Pentagon, and 2) who was ever held accountable for the failures of that day.)
The economy blew up at the end of his term, and I feel we came within a hair's breath of seeing western civilization collapse. Not gonna say that was all his fault, but it happened on his watch.
Included in that - 7 million lost jobs.

Against that record so far Trump has
1. the aforementioned tax deform
2. some obnoxious and moronic tweets, statements, and lies.

By my scorecard Bush is winning the badness vote by about 193-7.

That may be, also, because I do not care enough about DACA.

Bush was horrific. I remember Condi Rice having to read at the hearings BIN LADEN DETERMINED TO ATTACK USA.... They ignored it.

who installed Bolton in a major position of power in the State Department, i.e., Secretary of International Security Affairs. The minute that happened early in 2002, I knew that it was just a question of time before we invaded Iraq.

Bush was complicit, of course, but Cheney was really the one running things. Bush was merely the public face and front man who provided cover.

We would not have the messes in Afghanistan, Iraq and the rest of the ME without the Bush-Cheney era, so in that sense they were MUCH worse. So far.

But even they did not try to tear down with gusto every single institution that Americans hold dear and Bush did not appoint his own family members to run foreign or other governmental policy.

Without Cheney, he might not have been quite as much the disaster he was. But his tenure will be inexorably linked with Cheney forever.

So Bush gets no passes from me. Until Trump, he was the worst President ever.

Trump is beyond terrible, I fear we won't survive till the midterms.
The only up side is he is destroying the Republican brand.
They tried to claim they we're better than the Dems in the executive office, Trump has destroyed that argument . He presides over a complete *hit$how.
