Only in Alabama is $10,000 enough to bribe a lawyer to sell his/her integrity. The lawyer

in question is the attorney for the women accusing Roy Moore of sexual abuse. What a bunch of schmucks. Any Alabamian Attorney would charge at least $100.

The lady's lawyer taped the Moore-Bannon guys offering him money to lie about his client.

3. I'm trying to figure out the logistics of crushing horse pills with a sledge hammer

I've crushed plenty of horse pills in my time and a sledge hammer is just too unwieldy to do the job without losing pill pieces all over the place. I guess if you put them in a plastic bag that might contain the mess, but the bag gets chewed up pretty quickly. I used to have a pill crusher device that worked pretty good for most pills and for the toughest ones I have a mortar and pestle which works great.

Most horse medicines now come in a powdered form which makes life much easier, though you have to be careful about measuring it to give the correct dose. Some that are more dosage sensitive come in a paste in a big plastic syringe so you can squirt it into their mouths but that can be a fight if the horse is wise to that method.

...they make a device to essentially pop the pill in the back of their throats, not far back enough or with enough force to choke, but to trigger swallow reflex.

And avoid getting bit.

Souce: cat who needed daily pills. He eventually got wise to the pockets.

7. The paste method can be dangerous - but most of the time it is simply frustrating

I had one mare who simply would not eat medicine mixed with her feed. We tried molasses, apples, and everything else. Once she tasted the medicine she would not eat and even would dump the feed on the ground rather than eat it. We had to use the paste method of dosing her, but she was pretty wise to that, too. If we tried to make our own mixture and put it in a syringe it was usually runny and she'd spit it out. The commercial pastes (of medicine and de-wormers) we could smear it onto her tongue and the roof of her mouth and she couldn't spit it out easily though she still tried.

The worst time we had was when saving money on de-wormers. There is an injectible form which is used on cattle, but cannot be injected into horses since they will get an abscess. But it can be administered orally by drawing it up into a syringe and squirting it into their mouths. That one mare learned to shove her tongue against the end of the syringe and it would squirt back at me when I tried to give it to the horse. I don't blame the horses for hating the stuff - it tastes nasty and bitter! At least I didn't have to worry about having worms that year!

That poor horse. As bad a rider as Moore is, I'm surprised she hasn't dumped his ass on the ground and kicked him on the way down.
