(17,006 posts)There were several hundred people. A slightly smaller crowd than the one there on Feb 21st but many neighboring towns were hosting marches. Plus, the kids from Parkland were there in Feb. It was amazing!

(1,369 posts)Not sure how many, but considering it's Boise Idaho, there were a lot more than I expected!!! and there were just a few 10-15 anti protest protesters!! Have some pictures but don't know how to post them!! Sorry!

(26,268 posts)Haven't hard a size estimate but I'll guess around 300. It was a really cold, windy day but those that came were engaged and enthusiastic. Lots of people were lined up to speak during the 'open mic' portion of the rally.

Best sign: Trump Is Shooting Blanks.
I also saw a 5 yo boy on his father's shoulders with a sign that said "I'll be voting in 13 years"
Lots of signs about uteruses being more regulated than assalt rifles.

(21,594 posts)In Novato Ca. Maybe 1500. Funny part is that the mayor and city council woman spoke and then rally turned into unpermitted march. Thats life in a blue community

(7,134 posts)It was an unbelievable, nation-unifying event. My son and I were on Penna. Ave between the Newseum and Canadian embassy, not too too far from the stage.
So many highlights but one Ill never forget was Martin Luther Kings little granddaughter, all of 8 or 9 years old, who spoke with wisdom and poise well beyond her years. And when she was done, the crowd, which until then had been chanting Vote them out during pauses between speakers, started yelling Vote her in!
And I gotta say, seeing Lin Manuel Miranda sing was pretty cool. Hes a great person to have on our side!

(11,175 posts)The Mayor tweeted, "Amazing scene outside City Hall with over 1,000 people in attendance."
It didn't look like that many to me. He had a better view than I did, though, so, what the heck, I'll go with his figure.
