Which is WHY I read the transcript instead of watching this much-hyped interview.

I'll catch the interview later.

He was accusatory. Asking her why people should believe her.

I’m like dude, they paid her 130k to shut her up. What the hell do you think she is lying about.

Not that I think he interviewed her particularly well; I just think asking why people should believe her is a decent question.

They let anybody do segments on 60 Minutes these days.

The days of hard hitting investigative journalism on 60 Minutes are gone.

It was almost like CBS is expecting to be sued, or something. They've gotten a lot of lawsuits over the years.

Such as WHO told you THEY would make life miserable for you? WHO put those papers in front of you with the denials? Did you ever listen in on conversations with Cohen?

Getting her to lie, even in non/ sworn statements can be a problem for both Trump and the lawyer.

generally speaking I like AC. He's not the most confrontational interviewer but typically isn't a complete lightweight either. This interview was just a circus anyway (I'm not saying the underlying issue isn't important, just that Stormy Daniels is using it to put her face out there/make money and little else) so I wouldn't have expected him to push too hard. Most of the time I think he presents a fair and unbiased newscast. We can't expect everyone in the news to OPENLY share our views at all times.

...make her cry. Interview was very sterile given that racist guy in WH is one dirty old man...he is podrido, rotten to the core--and, seemingly lacks moral authority.

Republican pundits' talking points up to interview were: what does it matter, who cares, we already knew his past, well...BClinton. It sure as hell matters and they know it--his lack of character, values; his disgusting treatment of women spills over to the bigoted racist and mysoginistic policies towards non white, non christians, lgbt, immigrants and refugees and women.

He perpetutes hate propaganda and lies, about everyone, really. He lies about everything. He cannot be trusted and is unfit to be president. It sure as hell matters!
