Scary stories about 2 of Stormy's political consultants in 2009. They knew about the Trump affair.

Trump was even being considered then as a possible donor if she ran for David Vitter's Senate seat, which she was seriously considering then. Stormy gave them Trump's name and the names of other potential donors with the numbers she had for them on her cell phone.

One consultant's car blew up.

The other had her house almost burn down "when the gas line mysteriously exploded."

These incidents happened on the same night.

I don't remember hearing about this at the time. Found out just tonight thanks to a reply to this tweet from John Schindler:

That second tweet concerns what's being posted tonight by Andrea Dube, one of the consultants:

Mother Jones story about some of this:

https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2018/01/stormy-daniels-once-claimed-she-spanked-donald-trump-with-a-forbes-magazine/

And Mother Jones has learned that Daniels years earlier talked about having had a sexual relationship with Trump—and in lurid detail. According to 2009 emails between political operatives who were at the time advising Daniels on a possible political campaign, the adult film actor and director claimed that her affair with Trump included an unusual act: spanking him with a copy of Forbes magazine.

In early 2009, Daniels announced that she was considering challenging Sen. David Vitter, the Louisiana Republican who two years earlier had been snared in a sex scandal. Vitter’s phone number was discovered in the records of the so-called D.C. Madam, who ran a prostitution ring in the nation’s capital. Vitter, who now is a lobbyist, was a prominent social conservative who opposed abortion and gay marriage. Daniels, who grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, told reporters she wanted to highlight his hypocrisy. She offered up a potential campaign slogan: “Stormy Daniels: Screwing people honestly.”

Daniels was serious enough about running that she embarked on a May 2009 “listening tour” of the state and held discussions with local political consultants. Those conversations included coming up with possible campaign contributors. According to a May 8, 2009, email written by an operative advising Daniels, who asked not to be identified, Daniels at one point scrolled through her cellphone contacts to provide her consultants with a list of names. The email noted that the potential donors included Steve Hirsch, the founder of an adult entertainment company; Theresa Flynt, the daughter of Hustler’s Larry Flynt; Frazier Boyd, the owner of a strip club chain; and Jenna Jameson, the so-called “Queen of Porn.” Also on the list: Donald Trump.

This email was sent to Andrea Dubé, a Democratic political consultant based in New Orleans. In response, Dubé expressed surprise that Daniels was friendly with Trump. “Donald Trump?” she wrote. “In her cell phone?”

“Yep,” the other consultant replied. “She says one time he made her sit with him for three hours watching ‘shark week.’ Another time he had her spank him with a Forbes magazine.”

Dubé and the other consultant confirmed to Mother Jones they exchanged these emails.

Mother Jones doesn't name the other consultant besides Dube. I'm not sure it's the one whose car blew up, though I'd guess it is, judging by Dube's tweets tonight. Here's a July 2009 story about the car blowing up (Dube's emails about the affair Stormy had with Trump were in May of 2009):

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/the-porn-star-the-senate-seat-and-the-exploding-car/

The bad week, though, started on July 23 when her political adviser's car blew up in suspicious circumstances in New Orleans.

Welsh, a Democratic adviser and manager of the Stormy Daniels Senate Exploratory Committee LLC., said his Audi convertible exploded into flames around 11:15 p.m. July 23, a Thursday, while he and his wife were walking their dog nearby.

He said he became suspicious after reviewing surveillance tapes of the street where his car was parked, wedged between other vehicles.

On fuzzy security tapes that Welsh posted on YouTube, a person in a white shirt can be seen loitering around his car and apparently getting into it shortly before the car explodes in a ball of flames.

Firefighters responded to a 911 call at 11:23 p.m. and put the fire out by 12:06 a.m., said Michael Williams of the New Orleans Fire Department.

-snip-

Welsh said he was uncertain if the explosion was connected to his work with Daniels.

"Clearly, if someone tried to blow up my car, it's cause for concern; it's not cause for me to stop doing my job, stop me from talking about the things that are important," Welsh said. "If anybody had been walking by when that car blew up, they would have been seriously injured or killed."

So, if Trump found out that Stormy was talking about their affair to her consultants...

Interesting that CBS news covered the Stormy connection to exploding car in 2009, but 60 Minutes avoided any mention of this episode in her life connected to her politics, yet Anderson Cooper made a point to bring out her lawyer Avenatti's past work for Democrats, even calling him a Democratic "operative".

CBS and 60 minutes would naturally be cautious of bringing up these scary incidents involving both of her campaign advisors, but these incredibly suspicious incidents are relevant to the issue of threats mentioned by her lawyer and Stormy's motivations both in feeling pressured into signing the NDA and in telling her story to 60 minutes for self-protection.
