Daniels is clearly telling the truth.

First of all, she has everything to lose and not much to gain (yes, her fame and bookings have gone up. But not enough to make up for the hassle).

Second, 45 sues everyone he thinks he can bully through excessive lawsuits. If 45 thought he could shut her up by filing a lawsuit and drowning her in paperwork and there was no truth to it he'd have done it already.

Clearly, 45 doesn't want to undergo the discovery process and a deposition like he had to do with Trump U. He knows the truth will be in the documents he has to produce.

So he can go on the record under oath.

Ms. Stormy's attorney now going to crank the Righteous Ratchet of Justice another notch tighter.

No reason for the court proceeding in California. No reason to dun Stormy for $20 million.

Maybe that is the distinction the Donald is drawing.

Republicans are good at coming up with those sort of hair-splitting differences. Newt Gingrich claimed he never cheated on either of his first two wives because he didn't do the P-in-V, only oral sex. Bill Clinton picked up on that, when he made his infamous "I did not have sex with that woman, Miss Lewinsky" statement, he was echoing what Gingrich had said.

So for Donald, a one-night stand isn't an affair because reasons. It might be interesting to poll his evangelical supporters on that question.

He probably doesn't look at it as an affair. It was just screwing a young, attractive woman. That's no more an affair than is walking in on teenage beauty pageant contestants or grabbing pussies.
