I heard earlier today about a sealed train on its way to Beijing, and I couldn't help but remember Lenin.

My guess is they're looking to strengthen their relationship with China in this modern era.

This is a power play by both nations. Or so I think.

protector role has weakned to the point of being essentially abandoned in the face of NK's hostility, unwillingness to cooperate, and general troublemaking. There are other reasons, such as China's own strength making it unnecessary to maintain the Korean peninsula as a buffer.

Kim went to China, notably, not vice versa. Not that that'd happen.

I would be more surprised if Kim did not visit China before meeting Trump.

Yes, the last two leaders occasionally murder people, but so did Stalin and Mao (those two killed tens of millions mostly indirectly, but many close up and personal)

several American Presidents and on and on we go. All world powers murder people and then speak about their values. I'm way beyond that shit.

They are also coordinating to put Trump in check on the world stage. This has been going on for months.

I always assumed that Russia
was furnishing NK with most of their energy resources....and that may still be true....but China probably wants to go a-courting
