It has been pretty obvious, even in the Spicer days, that the WH wants to control all narratives. Hence all the tweeting. Answering inconvenient questions??.....not so much.

but I think they should stage a walkout when she tells an over-the-top lie. They could have an alternative planned. They could sit in somewhere if the briefings are cancelled. Make the protest large and publicize it well.

Someone else said it is their job. They are paid well to show up to these "briefings." It is the job of students to show up for class. But look at how many have participated in a planned walkout. If the press wants to be effective, they need to do something else. Let Fox News be the only ones left sitting there.

I prefer they be there even though it can be very frustrating. But, on the other hand everything can and is fact checked. And if we don’t see and hear the lies I fear complacency would take over.
