"Sorry I stole your panties" says Judge Robert Cicale

EAST ISLIP, Long Island, New York (WABC) --

A Long Island judge who police say repeatedly broke into his neighbor's home to steal her underwear has confessed to snatching panties on multiple occasions, even though he has pleaded not guilty.

Still, Suffolk County District Judge Robert Cicale has been removed from the bench and is facing up to 15 years in prison.
Cicale was arrested on burglary charges and appeared in court Friday morning.

The judge is a married father of three young children, and he is accused of sneaking into a home across the street and stealing the underwear of a 23-year-old woman who lives there with her parents.

In his confession, he said he stole the underwear upon feeling "urges."
He admitted that on several occasions, he entered the home, opened her hamper and took underwear.

Cicale was ordered held on $50,000. Cicale was "temporarily relieved of his judicial duties" ...
A judge also issued a restraining order that prevents Cicale from contacting the victim and, as a condition of his bail, Cicale will also be required to wear a GPS monitor, Sini said.

Neighbors were shocked when they learned of the judge's arrest.
"From what I heard, it's a little perverted maybe," neighbor William Bloom said.

that there is NOTHING that is beneath the corrupt Republican machine here. Last year, they ran a Republican in the Democratic primary for county executive. (Thank goodness we have closed primaries.)

In November we flipped one of our two counties blue, electing two young, dynamic Democratic women to the top spots, county executive and town supervisor. (The town in question has a population larger than the entire state of New Hampshire.) The county executive election was a tight race, made tighter by a Green Party candidate who painted the Democratic Party as a corrupt "pay to play" machine.

On a side note, our Republican former county executive is currently on trial for corruption.

The county comptroller (who ran and was serving in that position as a life-long Republican) whose term was up in January 2018 suddenly decided that he was a Democrat in August 2017 and primaried the Democratic candidate for county executive.

Our local party had to spend money on TV ads to win that primary, money that could have been spent on Democratic candidates in the general election. We also had "former" Republicans running as newly minted "progressive independents" for judgeships.

We have 20.5 million people here now, not all of them still have the screw sets that they were born with.

Viewing the video, he was caught “panty handed” in the street outside her home in their neighborhood immediately after she saw him in her room.
Not guilty???
Not???

By reason of entitlement? ...stellar court reputation?
And they haven’t decided whether to take away his judicial capabilities.
They, plus he, have surely been sniffing something more potent than pilfered panties.

They have been imagining what people do in their bedrooms and with animals for decades. Some of the stuff they describe takes a little more than an imagination. I think a lot of them, especially the rightwing evangelicals are closeted, very sadistic perverts.

But it wasn't Monica's fault that she had to reveal the gross stuff but it wasn't the depth of depravity this repuke pit has become.
