Laura Ingraham's Ratings Slip 9 Percent From Prior Night (When She Still Had All Her Sponsors)

Laura Ingraham’s Ratings Slip 9 Percent From Prior Night (When She Still Had All Her Sponsors)
Fox News 10 p.m. show can't keep pace Thursday with Lawrence O'Donnell on MSNBC
Tony Maglio, Published 2:05 pm, Friday, March 30, 2018

Laura Ingraham has lost more than a dozen advertisers since Wednesday — and now she’s dropped some viewers, too.

Thursday’s “Ingraham Angle” drew 2.152 million total viewers, with 432,000 of them coming from the key 25-54 demographic. That’s down from her prior night’s haul, when the Fox News Channel personality averaged 2.289 million total viewers at 10 p.m., with 474,000 qualifying for the demo.

That Wednesday to Thursday demo drop comes out to minus 9 percent. In terms of overall audience members, Ingraham’s night-to-night decline rounds to minus 6 percent.

It doesn't mean anybody is actually watching the programs, it's just noise in the house. These shouldn't be counted as "viewers" but that's how they boost their ratings.

On the other hand, people who tune into Lawrence O'Donnell on MSNBC are really engaged and watching the show. I know because I'm one of them!

for Lawrence O'Donnell

Was bashing her for attacking David Hogg, so she may have gone too far, even for Trump's fan base.

(I drive home in the wee hours of the morning and the only talk radio on at that time is conservative.)

Even if it's just as background noise, they hear the ads. That's all that really matters, when it comes to ratings.

A lot of observant Christians start their Easter vigil on Holy Thursday and would be dialing back on TV/radio. I'm lapsed but we spent Thursday night in church. I'm surprised anyone watches this septic toad.
