as they affect others; there are other things that make them deplorable, and a cratering stock portfolio is not one of them.

they're concerned with other things, and don't read or listen to news about stock markets.

The 'wall,' that's another thing.

DOW–2.16%

NASDAQ–2.78%

IMO, it's related to China's reaction to dumpster's tariff game.

Watch the markets in July when Mexico elects a leftist anti-imperialist president.

business. It should be pretty obvious to them by now that the ignoramus in the WH is not only undoing the economic recovery from the republican induced recession, but actually leading us in to a potential Great Depression.

Where the OPs characterization of the "rabid deplorables" will start paying attention, is the loss of healthcare and the definite war against Social Security and Medicare that has been on the republicans hit list for decades

They will likely just blame it on the deep state. They might go as far as to blame it on President Obama. They might claim that this is all a part of the weakness of the market he left Donald Trump and this proves that everything Donald Trump, Mike Pence, and the Republican Party was saying on the campaign trail was right. Finally, they might blame it on Congressional Democrats and claim the Democrats refusal to work with Donald Trump is the reason for the stock market falling.
